A full proof Andaman and Nicobar travel guide is very essential to understand these splendid islands that have been inhabited for several thousand years now. The great Andamanese people have maintained their separate existence through the vast majority of this time, diversifying into distinct linguistic, cultural and territorial groups. However, the islands welcome tourists every year who visit it from across the globe.

The islands have a tropical climate. The months of December to March are warm, sunny days with optimal diving conditions and turtle nesting, while the months of October to December and March to mid-May have a mixed bag of weather with very few tourists and lower costs. And the months from February to August have the ultimate pumping waves on Little Andaman for experienced surfers.

The capital of the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands is Port Blair which is the gateway to the pristine islands. This island town offers many water-based activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and sea-cruises.

You also find glimpses of the history and culture in the region. The Aberdeen Bazaar forms the centre of this town that is a good spot to stroll around. Together, these islets number around 572 that are covered with dense rain-fed, damp and evergreen forests and endless varieties of exotic flora and fauna. However, only 28 out of so many Island are inhabited and are open to visitors.

The two island of The Andaman and Nicobars are separated by the Ten Degree Channel which is 150 kilometers wide. The islands have many historically significant landmarks such as the Cellular Jail, Ross Island, Viper Island, Hopetown and Mount Harriet. You must not miss checking our Pocket Friendly Package
